Dr Felicia Lawrence

Dr. Felicia Lawrence Owner and Veterinarian

Felicia knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a very early age, often rescuing pets in the neighborhood. After she received her undergraduate degree from Troy University, she went on to receive her Doctorate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Felicia enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in dermatology and surgical oncology.

Outside of the office, Felicia can be found spending time with her two precious boys, Brewen and Ronan, her daughter, Tieghan, and her husband Mike. Felicia is a foodie at heart and can often be found in the kitchen cooking or cheering ‘War Eagle,’ supporting the Auburn Tigers.


Jennifer Barnes Lead Veterinary Assistant

Jennifer is from Pensacola, FL and joined the Daleville Animal Hospital team in August 2019. She had a passion for animals since she was little. She attended college and graduated as a veterinary assistant.

Outside of Daleville Animal Hospital, Jennifer helps her husband with their family chicken farm. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 5 children and 3 dogs.


Raechel LaFountain Veterinary Assistant

Rae has had a love for animals since she was just a girl, being raised on a farm in Maryland. Rae started her career in the service industry, where she worked until becoming a homemaker. As a homemaker, she raised 3 children and coached 3 soccer teams at the same time, all while being a military spouse supporting her husband throughout multiple deployments and his military career. Rae also raised multiple fur babies, including dogs and guinea pigs she affectionately calls her ‘piggies.’ She accomplished all of this while living in locations like Alaska, upstate New York and Alabama. After moving to Fort Rucker, Rae was able to pursue her passion for working with animals by joining the Daleville Animal Hospital team in January 2020. In her free time, Rae can be found in the kitchen cooking for her family or sewing quilts.


Annette Swensen Office Manager

Annette was born in Germany and raised in the Netherlands, where her family still lives. She came to Alabama with her husband in 1999 and became a U.S. citizen in 2018.

Except for a 3.5 year stint as manager at S.O.S. Animal Shelter, Annette has been our clinic manager since 2001. A dog lover herself, Annette enjoys being creative and dabbling in polymer clay and resin paints. The Swensen pack loves traveling and relaxing with a glass of wine and delicious food. Annette remains fluent in both German and Dutch.


Samantha “Sam” Ruzicka Certified Veterinary Assistant

Samantha is a Certified Veterinary Assistant from Oklahoma who was brought here for her husband’s military career. Together, they have 2 daughters and as a family they find themselves spending most of their free time outdoors.

Samantha is working on completing her associate degree in applied science and will be testing to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the near future. Samantha has a love for dogs, coffee and goats, and can’t say no to a pet in need.


Autumn Woodward Certified Veterinary Assistant

Autumn has been with Daleville Animal Hospital since October 2020. She is originally from Indiana, but being a military spouse for 20 years has had her living all over the U.S. Autumn is a mom of 3 boys, and after 16 years of being a stay-at-home mom, she found a way to merge her passion for medicine with her love of animals.

Autumn has an associate degree and a veterinary assistant certificate, and is currently pursuing a degree to become a veterinary technician. In her free time, Autumn enjoys spending time with her family, including her 3 dogs and cat.


Biranda Greathouse Veterinary Assistant

Biranda is from Wicksburg, AL where she has lived all of her life. She is the mother of Irish twins, one son and one daughter. Biranda has had a passion for animals all of her life. She grew up on a small family farm. Always being an animal lover Biranda knew Veterinary medicine was the career for her. She started working at a vets office right out of high school in 2014 and has worked in veterinary medicine ever since.

Biranda has been a veterinary assistant for the past 7 and half years and is currently working to earn her Associates Degree in Applied Science and becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.


Hallie Dickey Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist

Hallie is originally from Holly Springs, Mississippi and moved here for her husband's military career. They are pet parents to two beautiful Boston Terrier pups, Mila Marie and Baxter Albus. In their free time, they love to spend time with their dogs and go home to visit family and friends.

Hallie has always had a love for animals since she was young. After years of searching for the perfect career path, she has fallen in love with veterinary medicine and has plans on pursuing her degree to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.


Hailee Barnard Receptionist

Hailee is a military spouse from Bauxite, Arkansas. Her and her husband are high school sweethearts. They have two adorable fur babies, Charlie and Daisy. After high school, Hailee went to school for her Veterinary Assistant Certification and Animal CPR Certification. She is currently obtaining her bachelor's degree of Business Administration with a focus in Management. Hailee enjoys being around animals and making connections with pet owners every day.

On her off days, Hailee enjoys catching up on her favorite TV shows, off-roading in her Jeep, or shopping.
